Career Services Office (CSO) of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) provides its services to AUTH students and graduates in order to facilitate their successful transition to the work environment. CSO helps them to search for a job which corresponds to their qualifications, skills and experience, providing them with the necessary information and counseling services about further education and job opportunities. The information provided concerns studies in Greece or abroad), scholarships / financial endowments, mobility programmes, seminars, conferences and workshops, vacancies in the private / public sector, internships, labour market and entrepreneurship. CSO offers both individual and group career counseling services on self awareness, decision making, career management and development of successful presentation skills (CV, Cover letter, reference letters, and job interviews). Moreover, CSO organizes and holds activities and events that bridge the gap between academia and job market serving as a liaison between students, graduates and employers.
CSO of AUTH has former experience relative to the projects’ objectives. It has organized a specialized Workshop titled “Developing Mobility Skills for Studying and Working Successfully abroad” during which students and graduates were prepared for their future international career and studies abroad. With the assistance of a qualified career counselor, the participants could get information, advice and guidance on issues such as adaptability in the new environment, dealing with uncertainty and making decisions on where and how to search offers for mobility programs. Eventually, students clarified concepts of mobility with understandable and intelligible way, were well prepared for their mobility experience and took useful information and resources about study options and training opportunities in different countries abroad. Also, they improved their cultural awareness and developed their intercultural understanding.

She graduated from the school of Psychology and holds a Master in Social & Clinical Psychology. She has been working in the Career Services Office as a career counsellor for more than 19 years. She has also previous experience in European and National Programs for career development and enhancement of career skills of students and graduates.
