Universidad Autonoma de Madrid - Project Coordinator
Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) is a public university with an outstanding international reputation for its high-quality teaching and research. Founded in 1968, it has been generally recognized as one of the best Spanish universities in both national and international rankings and in 2009 it was awarded the recognition of “Campus of International Excellence UAM+CSIC”.
UAM has seven faculties and currently it has about 28,000 students, more than 2,900 professors and researchers and nearly 1,000 administrative staff. The support and development of high-quality research have been among its objectives, and it has been rewarded with international recognition.
UAM has a large experience in managing international mobility, educational and research programs in the framework of the Lifelong Learning Programme, the VII Framework Program for Research, and EuropeAid, including Erasmus+ projects (Key Action 1, Key Action 2 and Key Action 3). Thanks to this experience UAM have consolidated links and improved knowledge and expertise regarding the running of this type of projects and international initiatives.
UAM is the Project Coordinator of Erasmus Skills. Within this project, UAM has also lead the development of the Guide for Practitioners.

Adriana Perez (Project Coordinator)
PhD in Business Economics and currently Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Organisation. Her main research interests focus on university management, services, student mobility, employability and entrepreneurship. Adriana is the main project leader of the European Commission project, Erasmus Skills. Moreover, she coordinates another European project on intergenerational entrepreneurship and has coordinated and participated in other international and national projects on employability, entrepreneurship, mobility and internationalisation.
Eva M. de la Torre
PhD in Economics and Master Degree in Economic Development and Public Policies. She is Researcher and Assistant Lecturer at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) and her research interests comprise higher education economics, policy and management. She has also been the technical expert of the stakeholder board (Consejo Social) at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
Fernando Casani
PhD in Economics and Business. He has held various academic and university management positions: Head of Administration of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), Vice-rector of International Relations of the same university and Director of the Madrid Scientific Park Foundation. His current research focuses on new business models in the knowledge economy and higher education policy and management.
Jesus Rodriguez Pomeda
PhD in Economics and Business. He is Associate Professor Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). He has served there as Vice-Rector for Strategy and Planning, as well as Head of the Business Organization Department. He is a former consultant for the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development).
